We are always interested in recruiting bright, talented, and curious researchers. Undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral applicants should contact Dr. Evans directly (evanst@uark.edu) with the information listed below:
The Evans Lab is affiliated with the Department of Biological Sciences (http://biology.uark.edu) and the interdisciplinary Cell and Molecular Biology (CEMB) Graduate Program (http://www.uark.edu/depts/cemb) at the University of Arkansas. If you're interested in a graduate student (MS or PhD) position, please contact Dr. Evans to find out if any openings are available before submitting your application. Graduate applicants should provide a short description of your research interests, future plans, and your motivation for pursuing a graduate degree.
Exceptional students may be competitive for additional funding opportunities that will supplement the standard graduate stipend. Both Biological Sciences and CEMB are actively recruiting Distinguished Doctoral Fellows (DDF) and Doctoral Academy Fellows (DAF). The DDFs have a range of $35,000-$40,000 for a 12-month stipend, and the DAFs have a range of $25,000-$30,000 for a 12-month stipend.
